Successful Location

My new location at the Kona Inn Shopping Village is working out well. I've been down there day and night since the first of the month and finally have a good idea what days, nights and hours are best. I can tell you from experience - being there all day into the night is a good way to burn yourself out, so I have to choose carefully my working hours so I can avoid burn-out.

The up side is that I've completed several paintings really fast compared to what I had been doing in the past. I finished the 24x48 seascape, a 22x30 Lavender Cattleya Trio and a 24x36 Bird of Paradise flower. Today I start a new painting.


It may take a long time for everyone to discover that I've moved and where I've moved too, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. So far, it has helped my gallery sales at the Pacific Fine Art Gallery by being close by. I send people down to view my work there all of the time.

Tonight I will be in Kawaihae again painting in front of the Harbor Gallery. Last week they told me that they sold my painting titled "Puako Breeze", which is great news. :)
